AVR Secured Rfid Label or Tag

The AVR TAG is an anti-tamper security enabled RFID data card that is displayed on the vehicle’s front windshield. As a high-level anti-tamper security enabled radio frequency transponder, it contains high-level security features, displayed in the vehicle’s front windshield. With these elements, the AVR Tag or Label is capable of Visual identification, validation and Authentication. Coupled with electronic reading and authentication, the tag is designed to store and secure Information.

Combined with the Authentisec™ security mechanisms, the AVR tag or label is rigidly protected against any form of abuse. This makes it impossible for any kind of manipulation.

The information stored in the AVR tag is digitally signed and encrypted for protection, secure reading and authentication thus providing great assistance for automated management and tracking required by administrative, financial and security agents.

The AVR tag or label may contain the following details relating to the vehicle, owner and status

• Vehicle type, model and colour
• Vehicle registration, chassis and engine numbers
• Date vehicle first registered
• Date vehicle tax entered and expiry date of tax
• Current owner details
• Permitted driver details included if required
• Photographic details and license numbers
• Last date and place of vehicle safety check

• Insurance details including dates
• Any outstanding traffic violations

All government and subsidiary agencies responsible for registration of vehicles, taxation, issuance of insurance, driving tests, driving licenses, etc, have access to the database and tag writing equipment so that the loading of the tag and any change in status can be done by the authorized agency and personnel.
