Casstel Micro Wave Guard

The CASSTEL MICROWAVE GUARDintrusion detection solution is a volumetric, high-performance system that creates a microwave field between transmitter and receiver units to detect intruders based on their size and speed. It is cost effectiveand easy to install.

The Casstel system utilizes microwave radar sensors with a range of up to 1000 feet and with a 16-foot wide beam. This detector is designed to monitor its protected zone for movements, continuously “learn”, and adjust to changing weather and terrain conditions including 1-foot tall grass and snow up to 1 1/2 feet without adjusting the unit! Its ability to work in extreme temperatures (-58 to 149 F) and its economical power consumption (0.7w) make this solution one of the best means of perimeter intrusion detection.

CASSTEL MICRO WAVE SOLUTIONS utilize the Doppler effect of transmitter and receiver and digital analysis of the Doppler waves to detect intruders. The units are usually mounted at different maximum range distances facing each other. They make use of special antennas, which emit a long- range, narrow microwave beam that provides invisible volumetric microwave perimeter protection for distances up to 457 m (1500 ft.) When the units case is opened or powered off, if power reduces under 10.2volts DC or when an intruder violates the volumetric detection field, the alarm sounds. The system is not affected by rain, snow, wind or other sources of nuisance alarms.
