CV-GUARD/48

FEATURES AND BENEFITS
  • Passive indoor/outdoor perimeter intrusion detector

  • Military base application
Very potent against different forms of perimeter intrusion
  • 0.05 percent rate of false alarm
  • 99 percent active in detecting any form of mechanical or forceful intrusion
  • No electricity on the field
  • No large devices on the field
  • Resistant to any known scanning device
  • Resistant to the influences of neutron flux impulses
  • Minimal electric consumption: only 1.5ma
  • Compatible with any data acquisition and processing system
  • Provides early warning of attack prior to entry

OPERATING PRINCIPLES

The CV-GUARD/48 operating principle is based on the vibratory effect on the sensitive cable. An intrusion into the protected zone creates a vibratory effect on the locked element of the building structure or fencing. When this happens, the signal-processing unit analyses the changes of the charges that appear in the sensitive element (vibrocable) and sends out the signal as an alarm which in turn, leads to detection.
